We may serve tea, but we’re not just your typical tea room. Charlotte’s owner and founder Joanne began her career as a set designer and food stylist and has since applied that knowledge to the design of a truly unique dining experience. Enjoy an ever-evolving menu that combines traditional English cuisine with homespun American favorites. At Charlotte’s, we’ve made a conscious decision to slow things. Come eat, relax, and dream with us.

At Charlotte’s, we try to our best to embody the sensibility of a traditional Victorian tea room yet still reap the benefits of the comfort food movement. We feel our menu should reflect our individuality and not what people may come to expect out of a tea room. You can order tea for two, served on a traditional three tier tower, but we also serve pot pies and paninis. “Who’s to say whats better and what’s not? It’s different and that’s a great surprise,” says Joanne. We hope that guests of all kinds can feel welcome here and enjoy our food and drink.

We are located in a renovated Victorian home in the historic Hudson Valley. Open for lunch, Wednesday through Sunday 11:00 to 4:00. Dine in one of our three unique rooms or seasonal front porch. Reservations are always suggested, especially for larger parties, but are not required
